Audio-Technica Officially Opening New Operations in Berkeley County

MONCKS CORNER, SC – Audio-Technica, an industry leader in audio manufacturing, is officially opening its new Southeast distribution center tomorrow in Berkeley County. The $3.3 million project is expected to create six new positions in Berkeley County.

Established in 1962, Audio-Technica designs and manufactures a wide range of products, including high-performance microphones, headphones, phonographic magnetic cartridges and other audio equipment.

Located at 1325 Garrott Avenue in Moncks Corner, S.C., the new facility will augment Audio-Technica’s distribution center located at its U.S. corporate headquarters in Stow, Ohio. It will handle warehousing and distribution operations, as well as order processing. The 56,000-square-foot facility has seven loading docks and is designed to meet the increased market demand for Audio-Technica products.
